Still have questions? Contact us and our team will get back to you.
Are swatches free, and how many can I order?
Yes. Swatches are free, and you can order up to 4 swatches in any color combination.
Why are swatches available for chenille, but not for woven or velvet?
Swatches are currently offered only for chenille, as this is the fabric most customers prefer to see and feel in person. Woven and velvet swatches aren't available at the moment. For these fabrics, we provide detailed close-up images and fabric descriptions online. Please note that colors viewed on screen may vary depending on device settings and lighting conditions.
Are your materials fire-retardant?
Yes, all upholstered fabrics are CPSC compliant, as required by US law, without any added chemicals.
How big are the swatches?
Each swatch contains a 2.4" x 3.5" piece of fabric. They're sized to help you assess color and texture, and to compare against your walls, flooring, and existing furniture.
Will the fabric color look exactly the same on the sofa as it does on the swatch?
Our swatches are made from the same upholstery fabric as the sofa, ensuring an accurate feel of its texture, thickness and finish. On a full-size sofa, the fabric is stretched over a larger surface which may cause slight color variation. As chenille has a textured surface, the color may also appear different under varying lighting conditions or viewing angles.
What's the best way to test swatches at home?
We recommend viewing your swatches in different lighting conditions:
- Natural daylight – Shows how the sofa throughout most of the day.
- Cozy evening lighting – Reflects how the fabric appears during nighttime lounging.
- Cool indoor lighting – Useful if your room is open-concept or lit with cooler artificial light.
