Ted Bed (King), Solid Acacia Wood Platform Bed with Removable Upholstered Headboard Cushions

Despite the damaged box, I was happy to see FedEx had not destroyed my new platform bed. Nothing was broken because the different pieces had been padded and packed so well. The assembly was simple and didn’t take long but at times, it took 3 of us to complete a step. I’ve slept on it two nights now and can honestly say, “I love it!” No creaks, very stable, and looks good with my mismatched mahogany bedroom antiques. Great price, very comfortable, and quality materials. Wish I had bought it sooner!

Great looking, sturdy bed frame. I put it together by myself in a little bit over an hour. It would be much easier with two people. I gave it 4 stars because if came with a slight dent on the headboard.

If you're looking for a sturdy, good looking frame, at a low price point, this is what you're looking for. The mattress fits inside on the frame so it won't slide around/hang off the sides. The headboard feels very solid and has a slope so you can sit up and lean against it without feeling like you're going to break it. It was relatively easy to put together. I did it on my own and managed but it would be easier with two people. It feels very sturdy all around. I didn't have any missing or damaged parts in my order.

Astonishingly poor (assembly)design. The frame uses the most ridiculous assembly method imaginable, including threaded studs requiring nuts in recessed holes inaccessible by any man sized fingers lol. Instead of fool-proof captured nuts they use "crossing nuts" which require manually aligning them perfectly to get the poorly machined hardware started. In all there are NINE different sku's of hardware to assemble this thing. I have another (much better) bed frame that requires ONE sku of hardware (conventional bolts) that goes together quickly, easily, and is far more square and sturdy than "TED". The slat system is completely inadequate for a platform bed. I had to add plywood over the slat system to properly support a mattress.

Although made in Vietnam, it has typical Chinese made problems. Fit and finish is poor, the screws do not fit the threaded insert nuts well at all. for some reason the Chinese just cannot properly machine anything threaded- from light bulb sockets to nuts and bolts, they are always poorly done. Likely the machined parts for this stand were made in China.

The engineering of this piece is very well done (in the U.S.?) but the fabrication falls short.

About a year into owning this bed and very pleased with it! Easy to put together, sturdy, actually made of wood, reasonable price. We liked it so much, we bought a second one for another room.

This bed frame was purchased for me off of my wedding registry and when it arrived, we did not open the package for quite some time because it was at our in laws house before they gifted it to us for our wedding. When we did open the package, we found that one of the pieces was damaged and I contacted their customer service asking just for a replacement part and they are shipping me an entire new bed frame. I am so pleased that the bed frame was good quality along with excellent customer service to fix one broken piece. I would definitely recommend this company If you are looking for a good piece of furniture at a more affordable price.

Bought and put together with a friend in about 45 mins. Frame is attractive and sturdy and I will probably buy another for the second bedroom.

Easy to assemble and very sturdy

I bought one for our new vacation house. It was so comfortable. We ended up buying another one for the second guest bedroom. And then my daughter needed a new bed so I got it again! Excellent quality for the price my husband is a builder and he said he couldn’t make something that sturdy that cheap.

Took awhile to assemble. Constructed of solid Acacia wood. After bed was assembled, bed was very stable. No squeaking from moving/rolling about on the bed.

I recently purchased this bed frame, and I couldn't be more impressed with its quality and craftsmanship. The materials feel premium, and the construction is solid. It should be made of solid wood, very modern and matches my night stands as a plus! If you see my video, you can see that there is Velcro added to where the slats are to prevent them from moving. This is the attention to detail that I didn’t expect at this price point snlo I’m very pleasantly surprised.

The instruction manual is also very clear. It recommended two people for the job but I was able to put it together without my husbands help.

Additionally, the seller was fantastic to work with. They were highly responsive, answering all my questions promptly and ensuring a smooth transaction from start to finish. I’m very pleased with both the product and the customer service.

I ordered two twin beds and they arrived early. The beds were packed well and no damage.
I'm a 68 year old woman and was able to put them together by myself.
I found the video to be more helpful than the paper directions.

I'll be having my son-in-law to put it together so I can't speak to its sturdiness as yet. I did unpack it and so far so good. The bed parts are heavy and I do hope the slats hold up. For the price, I think it will prove to be a good buy.

The frame has held up well so far after 3 months or so. No issues. The 5 stars is for the level of customer service I received from MopioInc with an issue that was resolved. They followup quickly, are attentive, and are committed to resolving legitimate issues fairly.
