Macy 4-Seat L-Shaped Modular Sofa

Went with the 2.7 inch leg add-on since our old coffee table sits pretty high and wanted the seat height to match better. Such a simple upgrade but it made a real difference for how the whole setup feels proportionally.

I really like this 3-seat sofa from Mopio. It has a clean, contemporary look, and the fabric feels durable but soft. The seats can be used separately or connected with a hinge. There’s also a good amount of storage under each seat—great for extra blankets or small items. Setup was super easy with a toolless design and clear instructions. It feels sturdy, comfortable to sit on, and overall, a great value! The covers are 100% fully removable (including the base), so cleaning or washing it will not be a problem. I ⁠chose this also because it's possible to upsize, adding ottomans for expansion.

Ordered the largest size for our basement and we are pleasantly surprised! Super easy to assemble. More comfortable than I anticipated and so soft! Looks much more expensive than it was!

For reference my husband is 6‘2“. This thing is massive! Pic with him laying on it is before the last piece came in. Love that the entire thing is washable!

Very nice sectional. It is lower than your average couch but I have a small living area with lower ceilings so it looks fine. I decided to order an additional piece to make it L shape and will move the ottoman piece to the other side when it come in. Provides lots of seating and covers are washable so hopefully it will last for a few years. I took off one star because I do wish it was just little higher off the floor. It arrived quickly too!

I’m really happy with this couch overall, but I’ll start with the one small hiccup first I experienced: The screws on one of the seats would not line up correctly with the predrilled holes. I ended up sitting this one aside and notified the company and they quickly sent out a replacement for this one seat that I received in literally 24 hours. Thankfully, the other seat pieces went together without any problems.

Now onto the good stuff, which definitely outweighs that one hiccup. First, assembly was super easy, no tools required, which is a win for someone as mechanically challenged as myself! I also love how modular it is (hence the name). You can rearrange the pieces and armrests to fit your space, which gives you so much flexibility. One day I arranged it for 3-4 guests to all lounge around and another day for a group of 7-8 people who can all easily fit on it.

The Velcro on the cushions is also a standout feature for me. My old couch had Velcro, but the cushions would slide all over the place, which drove me nuts. This Velcro is strong, and the cushions stay perfectly in place, whether you’re sitting or lying down. Plus, the couch is really comfortable—honestly, because of the price I did not expect it to feel so luxurious. However this is a major upgrade from my last sofa and an upgrade compared to what I thought I was buying!

I was initially worried it might sit too low, but it works perfectly with my high ceilings. All in I would rate it a solid 9.5 out of 10. Highly recommend!

I’m really impressed with this macy sofa! The order arrived quickly—within just a few days—and was packaged securely in 5 separate boxes. The packaging was sturdy and well-organized. Three of the boxes contained the armless storage modules, one box had the armrest set, and the last box held the ottoman. I really appreciated how well everything was packed, especially the cushions, covers, and hardware, all of which were safely stored inside the sofa itself to prevent damage.

Was given the wrong product. Orderes the 5 seat but was gievn the 3 seat. No form of direct customer service to report issue immediately. Really disappointed because it is such a beautiful couch.

I picked this up to replace an older couch that had seen better days, and I specifically wanted something that would fit well with another Mopio piece I already have in the house. This sectional/ modular sofahas been a really solid addition so far. We got the brown and it is a great color. It is an excellent value for the money.

Putting it together was shockingly simple. The way the modular pieces connect is designed really well. In fact, assembly was so easy that my 7-year-old daughter, Quinn, pitched in and can actually put a section together almost entirely on her own. Once assembled, the hazelnut velvet feels thick and tough enough for daily use.

The biggest win for me is the fully removable covers. I’ve already had to pull them off and run them through the wash a couple of times. I was a bit worried they might shrink, but they held their exact shape and went right back on the cushions without any weird stretching. The built-in storage under the seats is super convenient, too. The spring-assisted hinges make lifting the seats effortless. I use the hidden compartments to stash extra pillows and heavy blankets, which really helps keep my place feeling less cluttered. It’s also surprisingly adaptable for entertaining. Since it's fully modular, I find myself changing the configuration based on what I need—breaking pieces off for extra seating when friends visit or pushing everything together for a big movie night.

There is a small catch to keep in mind. Because the seats are fairly deep, shorter guests might find their feet dangling a bit without a thick throw pillow behind them. Also, if you are setting this up by yourself on thick carpet, getting the brackets perfectly aligned to lock the heavy modular seats together takes a little bit of patience.

This sofa is everything you will ever need in a sofa! It's completely modular. You can rearrange the pieces in any shape you want it, with ease. Fitting every space, perfectly. It's also very comfortable! We've had ours for a little less than a month now and the whole family has taken quite a few naps on it. The best perk about it, the entire thing is machine washable. This couch exceeded our expectations. It’s really nice and the color is excellent. It is difficult to set up and it comes in multiple boxes but the storage aspect makes it worth it. The ottoman/extended pieces are large so keep that in mind.
